Tree’d FAQ — Museum Audio Guides, Deployment, and Pricing

Answers to the most common questions about Tree’d’s AI audio guide ecosystem, covering how the system works, technical requirements, privacy, and commercial models.

How does Tree’d work for visitors?

Visitors pick up a Handset, select their language by tapping a panel, and start exploring. When they see an exhibit with a Tree’d sensor, they tap it to hear the story. They can then ask the Handset any follow-up questions naturally.

Do visitors need to download an app?

No. Tree’d is a physical, screen-free system. There are no apps to download, no accounts to create, and no personal devices required.

Which languages are supported?

Tree’d supports 12+ languages with native-level AI fluency, including English, Dutch, French, German, Spanish, Italian, and more.

Does Tree’d require internet during use?

No. Only initial setup and periodic cloud updates require internet. Day-to-day visitor use runs entirely on the local network inside the museum.

Is the system compliant with GDPR?

Yes. Privacy-by-design is at the core of our architecture. Tree’d never collects personal data from visitors, does not store voice recordings, and processes all analytics anonymously on-site.

What does installation look like?

The Tree connects to power and your local network. Handsets are then paired to the network and require no further setup. Most museums are fully operational within hours.
